Dr. Ayiesha Malik is a UK-licensed Medical Doctor, Homeopath, and psycho-emotional therapist with a unique, integrative approach to healthcare that empowers individuals to take control of their health. With extensive experience in both the NHS and private sector, Dr. Malik has witnessed first-hand the profound impact psycho-emotional factors have on physical health. She recognises that a pharmaceutical-first approach can sometimes leave patients grappling with side effects, often without a clear path to long-term healing. This insight drove Dr. Malik to advance her study in Naturopathy, Behavioural Sciences, and alternative healing practices, so she could offer a more holistic and person-centred approach to health.
Dr. Malik’s patients benefit from her compassionate, solution-focused care, and her deep understanding of the biochemical, physiological, and psycho-emotional aspects of emotional distress, chronic pain, and long-term illness. Her approach integrates the mind-body connection, offering treatments that aim to reshape the relationship between the mind and body, in turn reducing debilitating physical and somatic symptoms. As a regular expert contributor to Brainz Magazine, Dr. Malik is a passionate advocate for patient-centred care that respects individual values and promotes true healing.
Dr Malik graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2005 and has been a practicing General Practitioner within the NHS since 2014. She studied Personalised Nutrition at Middlesex University and the British Society of Ecological Medicine, later completing her LFHOM training and examination with The Faculty of Homeopathy. As her understanding of the mind-body connection deepened she pursued further professional development in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and is a registered practitioner of Contextual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the Association for Contextual Behaivoural Science (ACBS).
Dr Malik offers a range of specialised holistic services as well as full Integrative Medicine consultation—including Integrative Health Assessment, Functional Testing and comprehensive Integrative Health Plans. Her ethos recognises the complexity of each patient’s health challenges and believes in their capacity to heal, long-term, by offering personalised care that aligns with their unique needs and values.
