Richard Laker is the UK’s leading GNM (German New Medicine) certified clinician with over a decade of experience. His journey into this field began in 2010 when chronic health conditions, including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, took a sudden and unexpected toll on his life. Having worked closely with Ilsedora Laker, Dean of the GNM Institute for over a decade, Richard was fortunate to experience his first GNM consultation with her to address his own health challenges. This moment proved to be a life-changing epiphany, as most of his symptoms resolved immediately, sparking a transformative shift in his career.
Inspired by this powerful experience, Richard made the decision to pursue GNM training under Ilsedora's guidance, dedicating himself to helping others achieve similar breakthroughs. Over the years, Richard has supported countless clients in overcoming a wide range of health conditions, encouraging others to explore GNM and embark on their own healing journeys. His role as a clinician is best described as that of a health detective, helping patients uncover the emotional origins of their physical ailments and guiding them through the process of mind-body healing.
Richard Laker’s journey into German New Medicine (GNM) began after his own personal health challenges led him to seek alternative methods for healing. Before this turning point, he had spent a decade providing technical support to Ilsedora Laker at the GNM Institute, which provided him with a foundational understanding of the GNM approach. After experiencing his first GNM consultation, Richard was inspired to further his studies under Ilsedora's mentorship.
In 2023, he became an advanced GNM practitioner, dedicated to integrating the biological principles of GNM with compassionate, patient-centred care. Richard’s expertise in identifying and addressing unresolved emotional conflicts has allowed him to guide his patients towards holistic healing, empowering them to achieve long-lasting physical and emotional well-being. With his extensive experience and commitment to GNM, Richard continues to provide accessible consultations across the UK, helping individuals navigate their health challenges with the support of this paradigm-shifting approach.
