Following a personal life-changing journey through ‘Long Covid’, she has further deepened her understanding of the brain, body, and the autonomic nervous system in relation to the part they play in preserving emotional, mental and physical wellness.
Dr Deschu has also trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy. In addition, she has a daily personal Yoga, Pranayama (ancient Vedic breath-work), and meditation practice.
