This advanced cholesterol and lipid profile test offers a convenient way to assess cardiovascular and metabolic health from home. It measures important cholesterol markers involved in heart health, inflammation, energy production, and lipid metabolism using a simple finger prick blood sample.
Many standard cholesterol tests only provide basic numerical ranges. This functional health assessment looks at cholesterol balance and lipid patterns in greater detail, helping practitioners identify early signs of imbalance before more significant dysfunction develops.
The test includes a practitioner interpretation appointment to help you understand your results in the context of your wider health, lifestyle, nutrition, and cardiovascular risk factors.
Adults who want to better understand their cholesterol levels, cardiovascular health, and metabolic wellbeing.
Anyone experiencing:
HDL Cholesterol: Measures protective cholesterol involved in transporting excess cholesterol away from the arteries.
LDL Cholesterol: Measures cholesterol associated with plaque build-up and cardiovascular risk.
Triglycerides: Assesses circulating blood fats linked to metabolic and cardiovascular health.
Total Cholesterol: Provides an overview of overall cholesterol levels and lipid balance.
Non-HDL Cholesterol: Measures cholesterol linked to increased cardiovascular risk.
Cholesterol Ratio: Evaluates the balance between protective and non-protective cholesterol markers.
Lipid Balance Markers: Provides additional insight into cardiovascular and metabolic health patterns.
This advanced lipid profile helps identify cholesterol imbalances, metabolic dysfunction, and cardiovascular risk factors. Results may help guide nutrition, lifestyle, and practitioner-led functional health interventions.

We offer functional testing with and without practitioner interpretation. You can filter tests by consultation on the Functional Testing page. Certain tests, especially those involving clinically significant biomarkers, are only available with interpretation, and some require interpretation by an Integrative Medicine Doctor. We’ll ensure you’re seen by the right practitioner when your results are in. You can purchase a consultation later if you choose standalone testing, but we offer preferential rates for booking upfront.
We provide functional testing to help you make informed health decisions but do not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Results are interpreted through a nutritional, lifestyle, and functional medicine perspective, and it is your responsibility to seek further evaluation, diagnosis or treatment from your primary healthcare provider.
Your digital results report will include indicators of how your specific results differ or align with ‘optimal’ ranges in functional medicine. Some reports include an element of written interpretation. If you’ve purchased a consultation we’ll explain your results and interpret them from a nutritional, lifestyle and functional medicine perspective. We may offer suggestions about how Integrative or Functional Medicine can help and can refer you for full consultation or Integrative Health Assessment with a relevant practitioner if desired. If your test includes a clinically significant biomarker and your result is abnormal, we’ll direct you to consult your primary healthcare provider. If you haven’t purchased a consultation and you’re concerned about your results, you’ll be able to opt-in at this stage.
